Of the 31 Bee puzzles in March, 5 (16%) were based on pangrams that had never been used before. These 5 puzzles introduced 10 new pangrams and added a total of 27 new words to the Bee lexicon, an average of 5.4 new words per puzzle. No words were removed from the lexicon. Of the 27 new words only one had any prior history in the Bee lexicon, having been previously disallowed.
Of the 31 Bee puzzles in March, 26 (84%) were based on pangrams that had been used before. These 26 puzzles re-used 33 pangrams, and added a total of 21 new words to the Bee lexicon, an average of 0.81 new words per puzzle. Two words were discontinued. Of the 21 new words, 15 were brand new (15 IN), 5 had been previously disallowed (5 OUT-IN), and one had been allowed, then disallowed, then allowed again (1 IN-OUT-IN).
